The Many Faces of the One

The Many Faces of the One: article 28 - the unpublished esoteric writings of an aging yogi.

'The one true and absolute reality, identity and essence of the so-called individualized self is the Deathless Self. All alone is this. I am 'That', 'I-am'. Form is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness' is form. All is this as the undying, ever-present and eternal 'I-am'. I, alone, am 'I-am'.

                                                                        What is this?

                                                                          Who am I?

                                                             THE IMMACULATE SELF

What I present here for all you inquisitive and aspiring atman-yogis and truth-seekers on this esoteric and transcendental blog of spiritual self-reflection, self-inquiry and Self-realization is the very heart and essence of my individualized self-less and impersonal self-aware transitory and embodied existence. It is nothing separate from that, that I-am or anything else for that matter. As a temporary and individualized self-less and impersonal self-aware embodied form called 'body', I am no one or person of any special, gifted or unique qualities, intellect, status, mind, authority, power or self-importance, and these things are of no direct personal self-importance to me. They are all as fleeting, empty and transitory as is conceptual and conditioned reality, existence and identity.

As I see and know it, the so-called temporary things, forms, perceptions, constructs, dramas and events of this ever-changing and transitory sensory world of experience and experiencing, no matter how beautiful, satisfying, fulfilling, pleasant and desirable they might be, will all eventually come to pass, cease and end. For this is the ever-present and on-going universal characteristic of impermanence bound to all conditioned, created, produced and conceptual things, events, forms, constructs, realms, identities, dramas and worlds. For me, my only authentic esoteric endeavor and commitment is to fully honor and to remain absolutely true to what I spiritually know, live and embody regardless of all worldly and unworldly appearances, phenomena, events, realms, views, ideologies and forms, and the ever-changing on-going challenges, dramas, needs, conditions, desires, urges and demands of this so-called earthly, miraculous, transitory, strange, beautiful, messy and embodied life. Of this I am very clear. Of this I am absolutely certain. I am as 'I-am'. And so too with all things. 'I-am' is all, and all reality, experience and identity are 'I-am'. Plain and simple. This is the indestructible 'light', essence and truth of the true ever-present, immaculate and abiding deathless Self. The origin and source of all things.

It is the 'I-am' of I am.

For what it is worth, I simply would like to openly and freely share my own impersonal and personal realized and embodied experienced truth and revelations of reality, experience and identity, as I see and know it to be, so it might too help others as it has continually and successfully helped me navigate the ever-changing highs and lows of an embodied self-aware life and transitory existence - the so-called embodied individualized 'me'. For me, the only true and genuine esoteric yoga is that which fully unites us all back with our authentic, absolute, enduring and immaculate Self - pure 'Spirit'. For me, any other so-called form, use or interpretation of yoga is not true esoteric yoga

What I attempt to present here on this spiritual and philosophical blog is the truest and highest esoteric yoga that fully unites us with the direct self-recognition, self-knowing and knowledge of our true authentic and immaculate Self - pure 'Spirit'. This being the ever-present, unchanging and abiding 'I-am'. It reveals to us all that all reality, experience and identity is 'I-am', and only 'I-am' alone. In truth all reality, experience and identity are one as the ever-present and immaculate 'I-am'. It is the one true enduring Reality of all Reality. The one true and ever-present identity and origin of all creation and forms. It endures eternal whilst all things, worlds, dramas and creations come and go.

The 'I-am' of I am.

Personally, I feel and do as spiritually directed and nothing more. This is where this so-called embodied conceptual and self-aware life has taken me and I am forever blessed and grateful to all those kind and awaken souls and individuals who have selflessly, patiently and lovingly played their part in gently and sometimes harshly guiding and getting me here. It all is as it should be. As we all are aware and come to eventually know, only through the true blessing and grace of God, pure 'Spirit', does the genuine desire for the highest spiritual truth of reality, experience and identity and full embodied esoteric Self-realization and yoga come to us all in the end. This esoteric Self-realization of pure 'Spirit' being the highest realization, knowing and knowledge of reality, experience and identity. This truth being that the Deathless Self alone is. What I reference here as 'I-am' and this 'I-am' being the true eternal 'light' of the Self. It is that which goes by many names and yet is the one enduring identity and source of all.

Presently as I see and know it, I am this 'I-am' and all is this 'I-am', as the undying, ever-present and eternal 'I-am'. At this point in my spiritual communications of this spiritual knowledge on the nature and truth of reality, experience and identity, I am certain. Of this I am very clear. The Deathless Self alone is. I am as 'I-am'. And so too with all things. All alone is 'I-am'. This is the ever-present 'light' of the Self tied to all things. For me, this is the highest transcendental truth of reality, experience and identity. I am That. You are That. All is That. There is only one reality and all reality is this one enduring Reality. Plain and simple! No exceptions. This is the ever-present unity of all creation and nothing to this day has convinced me otherwise - tat tvam asi.

What is this?

Who am I?

EMPTINESS, 'I-AM' and the DEATHLESS SELF

I put it to you all, that form is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness' is form. Only 'emptiness', and 'emptiness' is all. All experience and experiencing comes from 'emptiness', has is being in and with 'emptiness'; returning to 'emptiness' and forever remaining in, with and as 'emptiness'. For me, this is the highest individualized and impersonal esoteric self-knowing, knowledge and embodiment of reality, experience and identity. It is the unsurpassable and absolute selfless fully realized state and embodiment of an awakened mind and heart. The Deathless Self alone is and all is this. Plain and simple. I am as 'I-am'. For me, this is the truest and only genuine transcendental yoga. This is the highest yoga that fully frees the mind and heart from the limiting and painful illusions of reality, experience and identity.

I am in you, as you are in me. We are one and the same.

I live in you, as you live in me. We are one and the same, as the ever-present 'I-am'.

For me, the Deathless Self alone is, and it is to this esoteric and unsurpassable truth of reality, experience and identity that I fully relinquish and surrender the wants, urges, demands, preferences, challenges and needs of the ever-changing individualized mind and so-called intellect. I expect nothing of anyone and I always acknowledge and honor that I am always one with all things and all things are one with that, that I-am, despite the ever-changing appearances, events, dramas, forms and conditions of this ever-changing sensory world and its multitude of ever-changing sense objects, phenomena, perceptions, constructs, dramas and forms. I am in essence and by nature the unchanging 'Deathless Self', as with all things, forms, creations and phenomena. In this full and embodied spiritual self-recognition, self-knowing and knowledge of the self-less and impersonal Self, all things, forms, perceptions, constructs, creations and phenomena are realized and known as the one absolute and abiding self-less and impersonal Self. This Self alone is, and this Self alone is the true transcendental nature, source, origin and essence of all conceptual and conditioned things, phenomena, constructs, creations and forms. 'I-am' as 'I-am'- emptiness. Call it 'light' or 'spirit' if you prefer, and yet it too can remain nameless. It is that which need not be named and has no other.

It is the 'I-am' of I am.

Fully in this knowledge and knowing of Self all sensory experience and experiencing is 'emptiness' and only 'emptiness' alone. All things have their being and existence in, with and as 'emptiness'. This is the ever-boundless, abiding and supreme esoteric self-less Self-realization and natural state of a fully awakened and embodied soul. They abide fully awake in 'emptiness', with and as 'emptiness'. This 'emptiness' is seen and known to be the one true ever-present essence, source, origin and permanent state of all that is. All is 'emptiness' as the ever-present 'I-am'. You too are this. I am as 'I-am'. This is the truth and essence of true transcendental yoga. The Deathless Self alone is. All is 'I-am'.

For me, conditioned and conceptual life, as we all live, experience and know it, is its own spontaneous self-less and on-going impersonal cosmic dance of becoming and being and this ever-changing transcendental dance of becoming and being has its being in and with me, and I have my embodied and individualized self-aware being in and with it, as we all do. All is verily the Deathless Self alone as the ever-present and knowing, 'I-am'. What I also refer to here as 'emptiness', 'oneness' or 'light'. It is that which goes universally by many names and yet it can also remain nameless. As I state, it is the 'I-am' of I am. It is the one true essence, origin and source of all creation.

I am in you, as you are in me. We are one and the same.

For me, this is the absolute oneness and unity of all life. For me, oneness is our true undying essence, source and permanent state regardless of all appearances, forms and worldly differences. For me, separateness is the real illusion. Oneness is the true absolute, state and essence of reality, experience and identity. The Deathless Self alone is - unborn, ageless, unchanging, pure, undying, free, empty, ever-present, plentiful and eternal. All as it is by its very nature is this formless, inexhaustible and immaculate Self. It is all the ever-present and undying 'I-am' - pure 'Spirit'. I am in you, as you are in me. I live in you, as you live in me. The so-called individualized mind is the only obstacle in this esoteric and highest self-knowing of knowing without knowing, therefore by giving up the so-called mind, the truth of reality, experience and identity will come clear to us all, for we are always this boundless truth and realization of pure 'Spirit'. I live in you, as you live in me. We are one and the same. I am you, as you are me. This is the ultimate oneness, nothingness and unity of all conceptual life. All is 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. What this 'emptiness' is, we cannot really say. It simply is, as it is and all is this boundless and inexhaustible 'emptiness'. It is the ever-present, unchanging and abiding 'I-am'. Plain and simple. The inexhaustible and indestructible 'light' of the true Self - 'I-am'.

What is this?

Who am I?

                                                               THE LIGHT WITHIN

For me, this esoteric knowing of the Absolute (be it 'God', 'Krishna', 'Allah', 'Reality', 'Light' or 'Oneness') does not require, need or expect me to become or be anything, for I am already all that I am as the ever-present 'I-am' and will always remain so; and so too with all creation and its ever-changing myriad, complexity and diversity of forms, constructs, dramas and phenomena. Despite all worldly and unworldly appearances, realms, dramas, constructs and forms, we are all in some way looking and searching for a home that we have never truly left. In this esoteric and unsurpassable knowing of knowing without knowing, the Deathless Self alone is, and both the so-called individualized mind and body are unified in this knowing of knowing without knowing, and so too with the so-called intellect. In this esoteric knowing of knowing without knowing all is as it is, and nothing more. Plain and simple. No drama. No fuss. No BIG deal. No self-importance. No color. No race. No gender. No history. No story. No form. No he did this to me, or she did that to me. No they did this to me or they did that to me. No life did this to me or life did that to me. No blame. No past. No future and no real remaining present. No real agenda. No above or below. No inside or outside. No birth or death. No bondage or liberation. Simply - 'I-am'. Pristine and immaculate - untouched, unchanged, unhindered, unaltered, unlimited and always free of all things, suffering, dramas, phenomena, creation and forms.

For the self-less and impersonal individualized self-aware embodied one who is genuinely fully awake from the temporary sleep of earthly ignorance, the atman-yogi, all at its true essence and source is the Deathless Self alone existing as everything, everyone and everywhere at all times. All is the Deathless Self, as it is. You and all are the Deathless Self that is everything, everyone and everywhere at all times. I am you, as you are me. All sensory or non-sensory experience and experiencing is 'emptiness' simply playing out and dancing. The whole universe and its myriad, diversity and complexity of things, dramas, creations and forms is only 'emptiness' playing itself out and dancing. Form is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness' is form. Only 'emptiness'. All is boundless and transcendental 'emptiness' as the ever-present, impersonal and immaculate 'I-am'. I alone am 'I-am'. This 'I-am' being the Deathless Self. 'I-AM' is our true immaculate and enduring nature, identity and permanent state. This is the true beauty and mystery of life and once seen it is seen everywhere and in everything and everyone regardless of appearances.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

For the true and fully realized atman-yogi this knowing of knowing without knowing, is the highest Self-realization of esoteric knowledge into the true nature and essence of reality, experience and identity - realizing and knowing oneself as the undying All. For me, this is the highest awakened state of a genuine and fully liberated and embodied soul; one who has attained to the unsurpassable knowledge and self-knowing of the Deathless Self, pure 'Spirit', which is the true essence, state and source of all that is, all that has ever been and all that will ever be. Having genuinely fully realized all reality, experience and identity as Oneness; as being Divinity itself, be it unborn, ageless, formless, eternal and deathless, the atman-yogi is no longer identified with or attached to the temporary embodied physical body or the individualized mind and intellect. The genuine atman-yogi is fully and genuinely awake and free from the mental sleep of worldly ignorance and only identified with all reality in its myriad, complexity and diversity of forms as being pure 'Spirit', which in essence is all things and all experiencing of experience and phenomena. 'I-am' is fully realized, embodied and known. It is the Self as the Self, with the Self and remaining always as the Self and having always been the Self.

Conditioned and conceptual life, as we live, play and know it, still goes on. Humanity still continues, and yet all is seen and known to have its being in, with and as the Absolute. I am in you, as you are in me. I am you, as you are me. We are one and the same despite the ever-changing and on-going illusionary play and dance of appearances, projections, constructs, ideas, dramas, differences and forms. All is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness' is all. Only 'emptiness'. What this 'emptiness' is we cannot really say. It simply is as 'I-am'. It is the one eternal and ever-present substance, state and essence of all things - unborn, causeless, formless, indestructible, eternal, immaculate, plentiful and deathless. It is the 'I-am' of I am. Once realized and known with all the intimacy and directness of authentic knowing the ever-present light and beauty of the Self is recognized and seen to be everywhere and in everything and everyone at all times. There is nothing that can hindered it, limit it or remove it. It shines eternal.

'It is all 'emptiness' endlessly playing out and dancing. All is 'that. You are 'That'. I am 'That'.'

What is this?

Who am I?

WAKING UP

What I speak of and communicate here to all potential and aspiring atman-yogis and truth-seekers cannot be destroyed, threatened, improved or impacted on by the demands, wants, needs, opinions, differences, urges and expectations of others and the ever-changing sensory world of things, forms, constructs, phenomena, creations and dramas. It does not rely on anything outside itself and yet all things have their being in and with it and as it. Reality as the self-less and impersonal Self is filled with the Self, and forever remaining as the Self. It is infinitely self-sufficient and self-reliantand the ever-changing myriad and multiplicity of realms, worlds, forms, dramas, events and phenomena do not lessen it, alter it or add anything to it. It can't be threatened, imprisoned, changed or destroyed. Not by living or death. It is always whole, perfected, eternal, untainted and complete as it is, and this is the unbreakable foundation and platform of this esoteric knowing; the knowing of knowing without knowing and the sole transcendental message and perennial truth of the Atman-Yoga presented here. All is 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. Simply this 'emptiness' as the ever-present and enduring 'I-am'.

For the genuine fully realized and awakened atman-yogi this is the very heart, essence and truth of all things, forms, phenomena, dramas, creations and experiences. It is the absolute and indestructible unification of mind, body and spirit, and all things with the immaculate and self-less Self, universally and spiritually known as 'oneness' - the Deathless Self alone being all that is. No dogma. No doctrine. No teaching. No spiritual or religious authority, superiority or ownership. Simply truth as it is in the stillness, purity and silence of esoteric knowing of knowing without knowing. This knowing without knowing being the complete and absolute unity, 'emptiness' and oneness of all life and all things. Nothing left to do, be or say. Nothing to gain or lose. Simply 'oneness'. As it is. Reality, experience and identity as it freely is. Divinity as it is. This is the highest esoteric Self-realization and knowing of an atman-yogione who is truly awake from the worldly sleep of ignorance. This is the universal esoteric realization and knowing of all the mystics, truth-seekers and immortals, both past and present. The Deathless Self alone is. One reality. One identity. One Absolute - 'I-am'.

It is the 'I-am' of I am.

For the individualized mind that is fully awake from the temporary illusion and sleep of ignorance, the Deathless Self alone is - unborn, untouched, ageless, unmoving, undying, boundless, plentiful, pristine and eternal. Essentially, all is this. Reality and identity are this. For the awakened one who knows themselves as the Deathless Self alone, all reality is this immaculate Self. There is nothing other than this Self. This Self alone is. All reality is the Self filled with the Self, forever remaining with and as the Self. All alone is this. This is the highest transcendental state and knowing of Atman-Yoga. The highest realization and knowing of an authentic atman-yogi and  truth-seeker. All that is done to the body and the mind has no real impact on our true nature, state, identity and essence. These worldly things, creations and dramas of experiencing belong to the ever-changing world of the senses and their sense objects and the mind/body experience. Essentially we are always free of what the world really is, regardless of conditioned and conceptual appearances, forms, phenomena, events, dramas, creations and situations. It is only the temporary ignorance and delusion of what reality, experience and identity really are that causes suffering, bondage and the end of suffering.

In the complete esoteric knowing of reality, experience and identity we can all fully acknowledge and accept life for what it truly is and embody an abiding peace and embodied free state that truly transcends it and yet fully embraces it too. This is simply done by us waking up the individualized mind to essentially what we truly are, and what we have always been. It is the transcendental realization and knowing of reality, experience and identity as the immaculate Self, filled with the Self, and always remaining as, of and with the Self. All experience and experiencing is only the ever-changing self-less and impersonal playing out and dance of 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is form and form is 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. This is why we state in this esoteric knowing of reality, experience and identity that the Deathless Self alone is. All reality is this as the ever-present 'I-am'. This is the true and unsurpassable transcendental yoga of reality, experience and identity - Atman-Yoga. The true inexhaustible light and truth of the Self. The 'I-am' of I am.

All of life and creation in whatever form or manner it appears has its being with, from, as, of and in the Deathless Self alone, pure 'Spirit'. For me, this is the absolute unity and indestructible transcendental essence, source, state, origin and nature of all life and the ever-changing sensory world of things, forms, conditions, events, dramas, creations and phenomena. I am that 'I-am'. All is this 'I-am'.

The Deathless Self alone is as the ever-present and abiding 'I-am'.

For me, be it Divinity, God, Light, Oneness, Truth, Allah or simply Reality, this is our true undying, indestructible untouched, deathless and eternal state, source, identity, origin and essence. Presently, of this I am very clear. Of this, I am fully certain. This unsurpassable universal and transcendental Truth is the indestructible, limitless and boundless place of 'love me land'. For the aspiring and committed atman-yogi and truth-seeker this is the highest state and self-knowing of spiritual Self-realization and self-knowledge, that the individualized mind realizes all reality, experience and experiencing as the Deathless Self aloneFor the mind that fully realizes its true identity with the Deathless Self , all reality is this ever-present and boundless Self, as it has always been and will always be. Simply this as 'I-am'. All experience and experiencing is 'emptiness' continuously playing out and dancing. This is the true inexhaustible purity, beauty, plenitude, unity, peace, bliss and freedom of esoteric knowing. Absolutely nothing can threaten it, harm it, destroy it, lessen it, improve it or end it. Despite the appearance and disappearance of all things and phenomena it forever remains ever-present as it is - unchanged, untouched, unmoved, unthreatened and deathless. Only 'emptiness'. All is this as the eternal and ever-present 'I-am'. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-AM', peace, peace, peace.

THE TRUE LIGHT OF THE SELF

The ever-changing conditioned and conceptual things, creations and forms in this so-called world of phenomena and constructs that appear and seem to divide and threaten us are only ever the temporary illusions and ever-changing dramas, preferences and projections of the individualized mind. The individualized mind is not our true abiding home. May you all in this esoteric knowing of knowing without knowing find transcendental peace, acceptance, plenitude, beauty, bliss and love in all things, being they favorable or unfavorable, pleasant or unpleasant, testing or rewarding. May you all consciously and knowingly fully abide in and as your true immaculate home, and for those who willingly and whole-heartedly venture, examine and contemplate the pages and articles of this esoteric blog my sincere, deepest and heartfelt gratitude, respect and love to you all.

As I have already stated, I only would like to openly share my own personalized and individualized self-aware realized and conceptualized truth of reality, experience and identity as I know it so that it might too potentially help others as it has continually helped and guided me. I'd like to think, like me, you too will realize and know directly and intimately the true and full miraculousness of a full embodied life and fully accomplish and establish an embodied and palpable free state of peace, beauty, simplicity, bliss, acceptance and love in that knowing of reality as it is despite the strangeness and fleetingness of it all. I'll meet and see you all in 'love me land'. Sat-Chit-Ananda.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

For me, we are always one, you and I. Separateness is the real illusion. All one. All 'light'. All 'Spirit'. All loved. All whole and free as the ever-present eternal 'I-am'. I live in you, as you live in me. I am you, as you are me. We are one and the same. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace. Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi, Svaha. Gone, gone, gone beyond, completely gone to the other shore. Live life fully embodied by the light and beauty of the true Self - 'I-am'.

"Before enlightenment, drink tea and chop wood.

After enlightenment, drink tea and chop wood."

I am forever at the feet and grace of the Divine - the ultimate truth of reality, experience and identity. May all sentient beings everywhere fully realize and know directly and embody this Great Awakening of pure 'Spirit'; that the Deathless Self alone is. This is the life. This is what it is, and it does not have to be anything else but this. At peace with it all. In love with it all. At one with it all. May you, who willingly and wholeheartedly venture into the inviting void of the unknown and unseen but seen, find your true abiding self-less and boundless Self in these pages and be at peace too with all life, despite its challenges, disappointments, changes, strangeness and imperfections. May all individualized minds be free of suffering and the end of suffering; free of bondage and liberation, and embody the highest, perfect and supreme spiritual realization and self-knowing of an atman-yogiOM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-AM', peace, peace, peace. I'll meet you all in 'love me land. Sat-Chit-Ananda.

                                                   FOR EVERYONE'S PEACE OF MIND

"I am ever present to those who have realized me in every creature. Seeing all life as my manifestation, they never separate from me. They worship me in the hearts of all, and all their actions proceed from me. Wherever they may live, they abide in me." Bhagavad-Gita (6:30-31).

"When a person responds to the joys and sorrows of others as if they were their own, they have attained the highest state of spiritual union." Bhagavad-Gita (6:32).

"They alone see truly who see the Lord the same in every creature, who see the deathless in the hearts of all that die. Seeing the Lord everywhere, they do not harm themselves or others. Thus they attain the supreme goal." Bhagavad-Gita (13:27-28)

KNOW THY TRUE SELF AND ALL WILL BE RIGHT WITH THE WORLD

"Being your true self-less and impersonal Self does not require you to do, say or be anything. The world can be as it is. Life can be as it is. All the time we are caught up in the idea and concept of being a so-called person or individual there is always something to do, say and be, even if it brings great benefit and justice to the world. When genuinely and fully enlightened into the undying essence, source and nature of reality, experience and identity all can be as it is, for all is with God, in God, of God, from God and as God. Plain and simple. One abiding and ever-present reality and identity as 'I-am'. Be it the saint or the sinner; the lover or the hater; the foolish or the wise, the fortunate or unfortunate. What we abide in, as and with is unmoving, untouched, inexhaustible, unthreatened, empty but full, full but empty, silent, formless, boundless, pure and free of all things and yet it too is one with all things and all things are one with it. This is the highest esoteric knowing and wisdom of a fully enlightened mind and spiritually embodied self-aware existence. This is the fully embodied and awakened mind and heart of a genuine atman-yogiThis is a fully realized and perfected embodied life that is attainable and available to us all regardless of circumstances, status, wealth, identity, persona and intellect.

In this Great Awakening of esoteric Self-realization all worldly differences are finally extinguished and only the deathless and boundless unity, light, beauty and oneness of all life is forever embodied as our true undying essence, source, state, identity, origin and nature. The one who is fully awake from the temporary worldly sleep of ignorance is forever abiding and acting in the esoteric knowing, knowledge, presence and state of God (God-consciousness). They are one with the whole universe and the whole universe is one with them. For they truly know that it is all the selfless and impersonal Self, filled with the Self, by the Self, as the Self and forever remaining as, of and with the Self. For me, this is the highest fully embodied esoteric realization and knowing of a genuine perfected atman-yogi. For me, there is no higher spiritual knowing and permanent state than this. It is all 'emptiness' spontaneously playing out and dancing. Only 'emptiness'. Live and love life fully and freely by the light of the true Self."

'I'll meet and see you all in 'love me land'.

"All with God, in God, of God, from God and as God. The Deathless Self alone is as the eternal and indestructible 'I-am'. All things are of God, and have their being in and with God. God is the one true undying source and essence of all that is, and yet the existence or non-existence of things and phenomena does not alter, change, threaten, improve, lessen or affect what God (Reality and Identity) truly is. This is the transcendental 'oneness' and unity that I know and speak of. This is the 'oneness' that is present in all things and all things are present in and with this 'oneness'. The individualized mind is the trickster and the deceiver. With the mind there is always something to disagree on and make enemies with. With the mind there is always something to do, to gain, to get rid of; somewhere to get to or retreat from. With God and in God there is only the undying unity, plenitude, beauty, bliss and oneness of all things, creation and life. This is what it truly is to be in love and free of worldly preferences, forms, constructs, consequences and conditions.

May all sentient beings know this too and radiate it and see it reflected and celebrated in all things regardless of their appearance, form, manner, status, identity, persona and behavior. This is the supreme and indestructible abiding peace, knowledge, plenitude, beauty, bliss and perfection that transcends all things. It remains forever untouched, unaffected, unthreatened and unaltered by all that is, and all that will ever be. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace. Nothing left to do, say or be. Simply 'I-am'. The Deathless Self alone is - unborn, causeless, ageless, untouched, timeless and deathless. Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi, Svaha.Gone, gone, gone beyond, completely gone to the other shore. Fully realized and embodied in the light of the Self - I am that 'I-am'.

'For the one who fully identifies and knows the self as the Deathless Self, all is seen to be the Deathless Self. For there is nothing but the Deathless Self. The Deathless Self alone is. All is pure 'Spirit. What I call 'emptiness'. The ever-present light and beauty of the immaculate Self.' It is the 'I-am' of I am.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

A personal note: Should you, the reader, not feel inspired or committed to look and venture beyond the viewing and reading of this initial opening page can I gently and unconditionally suggest that you at least consider the following 2 spiritual publications as valuable and insightful sources of spiritual Self-inquiry into the true nature, source, state and essence of reality, experience and identity; 'Avadhuta Gita of Dattatreya' - Swami Ashokananda and 'In the Light of the Self: Adi Shankara and the Yoga of Non-dualism' - Alistair Shearer. These 2 particular esoteric embodied publications only came into my presence and knowing some 4 or 5 years past, and yet I was deeply moved and reassured by the clarity and wisdom presented to us all in them. I am truly blessed and grateful to have lived an individualized and embodied self-aware life that has been graced and touched by them. To Dattatreya, Adi Shankara, Swami Ashokananda and Alistair Shearer my deepest gratitude, respect and love.

May we all find love, clarity and peace in the unity of all life in the knowing and grace of the Divine.

"All the world is itself Divinity. Imperfection is the real illusion. This is what it is to be lost to love, and the unity of all life. This is absolute Oneness. This is the perfected and perfect realization and knowing of an atman-yogi; one who is fully awake to the Divinity of all that is."

This is the essential and core message of Atman-Yoga. The Deathless Self alone is, as 'I-am'.

Atman-Yoga Daily Mantra: "I-am. Life is. 'I-am' is one with all life and all life is one with 'I-am'. Oneness in body. Oneness in mind. Oneness in all things."

Atman-Yoga Daily Meditation: 'Only God is Real' as the eternal 'I-am'. All is this. No exceptions.

Song of the Deathless Yogi:

I am 'emptiness'. All is 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is all.

Form is 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is form'.

This esoteric blog is dedicated to my earthly mother 'Rita' who transitioned on the 12th December 2021. A truly selfless, kind, beautiful and loving embodied soul, friend and mother.

You and the Universe are one and the same.

Additional post-article 2023 note: It is strange to look at these articles now and observed the obvious repetition and unstructured nature of these spiritual writings and works. I can only apologize for the way they are presented. I never approached any of this as an experienced writer or with any intention to be a writer. Much of what is presented here it simply added to this blog as it was written and recorded in my notebooks where I had recorded what came to me with periods of personal self-inquiry, meditation and contemplation. I am still confident that the core message is here despite my on-going ramblings. Each article gives a definite and palpable flavor and taste of what is being continuously pointed to.

The Many Faces of the One

What is this?

Who am I?

The Many Faces of the One: article 27 - the unpublished esoteric writings of an aging yogi.

"All the world is itself Divinity. Imperfection is the real illusion. This is what it is to be lost to love, and the unity and boundlessness of all life. This is absolute Oneness. I am 'That'. All is 'That' as 'I-am'."

THE MANY FACES OF THE ONE

The unpublished esoteric collected writings and works of an aging yogi.

"For the one who is genuinely and fully awake to the truth and identity of Reality, the atman-yogi, there is no action or role they need perform although all actions and roles can be selflessly and freely acted and done regardless. There is no place they need venture or go to as they are already permanently residing in all places. There is no-thing that they need acquire or have as they are already one with all things and all things are one with them.

For the genuine atman-yogi, no-thing or situation need change and yet all things can and do change. No-thing need happen and yet all things can and do happen. No-thing need be done and yet all things can and are done. This is the esoteric and supreme knowing and knowledge of the fully liberated embodied self-aware soul, an atman-yogi, that the Divine, the universe, creation and all things that reside in it are identical and of the same eternal essence, source, state, identity and nature. All in God, with God, as God, of God and absolutely, God in all. One Reality. One Identity.

For the fully awakened and embodied self-aware atman-yogi, Only God is Real as the unborn, ageless, formless, timeless, perfect, inexhaustible and undying 'I-am' - pure 'Spirit'. The Deathless Self alone is. This esoteric knowledge and knowing is the highest and unsurpassable spiritual realization, state and knowing of an atman-yogi. This is the unsurpassable and supreme realized state and knowing of the individualized liberated mind that is fully awake and free from the temporary worldly sleep of ignorance. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace. All is this 'I-am' of  I am."

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

THE TRANSIENT WORLD OF SELF

This particular blog page was still a work in progress when uploaded - articles 1 to 15 on this blog are mostly complete. Everything else on this esoteric blog on Atman-Yoga is still a work in progress as lifted from my personal collected contemplative notes and writings on the true nature of reality, identity, experience and the individualized embodied self-aware self. At this point in this blog I had finished transferring all my recorded and collected esoteric writings and notes on to this blog. I will now simply continue to do my very best to refine, correct, tidy and expand each article and page and add any additional notes or corrections as and when I am directed or inspired to, should it be needed.

Personally, I am mostly satisfied that the core message of Atman-Yoga is here for all truth-seekers to see, examine, challenge, dismiss, investigate, question and ponder. Its authenticity and truth will have to be the genuine discovery and direct experiential experience of one's own Self-awakening experience and knowing into the true nature, source, origin and essence of reality, identity, experience and esoteric Self-realization. Admittedly I do not see or identify myself as a writer, influencer or teacher, but I am confident that you will get a real taste and flavor for what is selflessly and freely available, communicated and offered here. Being that you are Reality itself, where you are now, is a good and fruitful place to start. For me, all reality, identity and experience are the selfless Self, filled with and by the Self, and always remaining as, of and with the Self. Only 'emptiness' is, even now in this moment as with all moments of experience, experiencing and self-knowing. Like I have already said, I simply would like to share my own experiential recognition, realization and knowing of truth, reality, experience and identity as best as I can with others, so it too might potentially inspire, influence and help as it has continually and successfully helped me - the so-called embodied me, navigate the ever-changing ups and downs of everyday life. This spiritual knowing of Truth being what I am happy to call the God knowing person - the Deathless Yogi.

".....to be separated from what we like and love can be suffering. To be united and in the presence of what we dislike or even hate can also be suffering. To not get and have what we want, crave or desire can be suffering and to get what we do not want, crave or desire can also be suffering. So; What is this? Who am I? What does permanence look like?

LIVING BY THE LIGHT OF SELF

I can assure you all that I have no personal hidden agenda, motive or expectation attached to these spiritual writings and works when it comes to others. The ever-present ''I-am' is without destiny; being free of beginning, middle and end, time, space and forms. I have simply done as inwardly directed in the events of this unfolding embodied self-aware life. Its true merit and authenticity will be of its own making, testing and genuine integrity, and only truly recognized and acknowledged with the loving and enduring support of the willing and directed souls and truth-seekers who visit, support and share this some what poorly designed and put together esoteric blog. As I've already stated, I certainly do not consider or identify myself as a writer, influencer or spiritual teacher. For me, it is only the heart and substance of the esoteric message conveyed and embodied here on this esoteric blog that has any real and lasting substance, importance or value to me. It is both lived and a living experience. It is all a selfless invitation and calling to our true innate and ever-present true Self. The 'I-am' of I am, and its enduring nature and presence is a palpable silence and stillness in the midst of all things and creations.

A personal dedication: May the Great Awakening of pure 'Spirit' be your own. Blessed and precious are those who have fully embodied and authentically realized, embodied and radiated this sacred and boundless truth of 'I-am'. May these self-realized and embodied souls and truth-seekers long continue to sit, stand, walk and live among us, whether in deep unbroken silence and solitude or with a booming and commanding instructive engaged voice and deliver us all from worldly ignorance and the temporary worldly state of suffering. The essence and the whole of Atman-Yoga is this supreme knowledge that, the Deathless Self alone is and all is this. Divinity is our one and true ever-present reality, identity and nature. This is the embodied and sacred knowing and radiance of an authentic and fully liberated soul, an atman-yogi, who is completely one with all things and all things are one with them. They intimately, directly and whole-heartedly know and embrace all things to be the unborn, changeless, limitless, ageless, timeless and deathless pure 'Spirit' - 'I-am'. They have fully realized their true identity with the Absolute, and see and know the Absolute to be all things. We and all things are all Reality itself. Ever-present, boundless, plentiful, blissful, perfect, immaculate, eternal and free.

It is all the 'I-am' of I am.

All love. All peace. All beauty. All one. All bliss. All light as the eternal, abundant and supreme 'I-am'. Sincere blessings, gratitude and love to all who whole-heartedly and directly venture into the heart, depths and truth of the Deathless Self, pure 'Spirit'. The Deathless Self alone is. Of this I am certain. To this I forever remain sincere, committed, bound, identified and true. May all hearts, minds and souls know the unconditional peace, love, beauty, wisdom, purity, plenitude, well-being, freedom, bliss and unity that we all are, and completely embody and abide in this miraculous and ever-changing life as this knowing of knowing without knowing of 'I-am'. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. I am the eternal 'I-am' - unborn, ageless, limitless, inexhaustible, boundless, ever-present and deathless.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

Abundant and heartfelt blessings to all who genuinely embody and radiant this esoteric truth of 'I-am'. Such awakened and enlightened souls are a welcomed blessing to us all. May you all discover directly and intimately the sacred and perfected one that resides in you and all, and permanently and effortlessly embody and radiate the Divine at all times, in all places, and in all situations and circumstances. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace. I alone am as 'I-am'. All is 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. Form is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness' is form. This is the ever-present light of the true Self.

"....to loose what we like or love can be suffering. To have what we dislike or even hate can be suffering. To be in the company of what is painful can be suffering and to be separated from what brings and gives us pleasure can be suffering. Therefore; What is this? Who am I? What does permanence look like?"

THE DEATHLESS SELF ALONE IS

You and all alone are the eternal Deathless Self. You and all alone as 'I-am' is the Deathless Self. Not as mind, awareness or mind-consciousness but simply as 'I-am', in, with, as and of all things. No things or realms of existence exist independent of the eternal and immaculate Deathless Self, and yet the Deathless Self always remains unchanged, untouched and free of all thingsThis is the true paradox of spiritual Self-realization and knowing, that the Deathless Self alone is all things and all things have their existence and being in and with the Deathless Self alone, and yet the Deathless Self remains forever untouched, unchanged, unaffected, unaltered, unthreatened and unmoved by all worldly or unworldly appearances, things, dramas, creations and phenomena. All is the Self, filled with and by the Self, forever remaining as, of and with the Self. We are all Reality itself. No birth, no old age, no decay, no lack, no bondage and no death. Simply 'I-am'.

It is continually said and stated by truth-seekers both past and present that when things, forms and phenomena are seen to be separate and independent then they are known to be unreal, empty and transitory, and yet when things, forms and phenomena are realized and known to be no-thing but the Deathless Self alone then they are real, permanent and eternal.

You and all things exist always as the impersonal, ageless, selfless, timeless and boundless pure 'Spirit'. Essentially we are Reality itself. For us, seeing and knowing the Deathless Self as a result of spiritual Self-inquiry and Self-realization is only us recognizing and remaining as the true Self that we already are and have always been. The Deathless Self always is, regardless of appearances, forms, behavior, dramas and circumstances and all things and creations are one with it. All separateness and individuality is born of the individualized mind, has its place in the mind and is ended with the mind. So too with suffering and the end of suffering. And with bondage and the liberation from bondage. The Deathless Self alone is. It is the one true source, essence, nature, identity and origin of all experience and phenomena including 'I-am'. All phenomena and realms of experience, experiencing and existence come from the Deathless Self alone and have their being in the mind and mind-consciousness and yet they always continue to abide in the Self, with the Self, of the Self and as the Self. All experience is the Self filled with and by the Self. No-thing is different or separate from the Deathless Self, pure 'Spirit'. All appearances, forms, dramas and phenomena are the illusions and projections of the individualized mind, and the mind has its self-less and impersonal being in the Deathless Self. The mind is one with the Self, and yet the mindmind-consciousness and all objects of mind do not affect, alter, threaten, lessen, taint, improve or change what the true immaculate Self is.

The Deathless Self alone always is - unchanging, unmoved, ageless, fulfilled, plentiful, whole, complete and supreme. All is this. This is the one true essence, identity and nature of all things. This is their true absolute state, essence and nature, regardless of appearances, circumstances, behavior, creations and things. Concepts, ideas, beliefs, views, opinions, preferences, labels and names only have their place in the mind; born of the mind, belonging to the mind, and ending with the mind, and therefore they are only relative to the mind and mind-states and have no impact or reliance in us fully knowing this truth of the Deathless Self. Our true essence and nature lies beyond the limits, opinions, views, ideas and concepts of the mind and yet the mind too is one with this essence. It alone is as 'I-am'. It is Reality itself. You are this Reality. All is this Reality. One enduring and ever-present Reality.

If we are to say that the 'I' thought or the thought of 'I' is an illusion of a conditioned, conceptualized and individualized self, then who is it that recognizes or realizes this illusion of a conditioned, conceptualized and individualized self'? We could say that the 'I' thought gives up the illusion of the 'I' and yet remains only as the 'I' thought. What I would say is that all there is, is 'I-am', which is free of any individualized mind and permanent 'I'. The 'I' itself has its being in 'I-am' and is always one with 'I-am'. The 'I' thought has its being in and with 'I-am' but it is not 'I-am'. For me, spiritual Self-realization is to remain fixed in and as the Deathless Self always; our sense of being, identity and presence, what I call 'I-am', even with the appearance and disappearance of the 'I' thought, it is always fixed in the Absolute as its true formless and perfect home; a home of infinite potentiality and endless possibilities that it has never truly left. It is the very idea and belief of having left this home that is the real illusion and the cause of suffering. All has its being in, of and with 'I-am'. Separateness and individuality are the real limiting illusions.

ONLY THE CHANGELESS ENDURES

"By the habit and ignorance of the human condition, we as an ever-changing mind/body experience see ourselves and the world we inhabit and partake in as being substantial, real, reliable, concrete and enduring. In the spiritual and palpable silence and stillness of 'I-am' we soon come to fully realize and know directly that all these things and creations that we attach so much self-reliance, need, certainty, permanence and self-importance on and to, are always marked, conditioned, limited and shaped by change, transition and impermanence. Therefore we fully recognize that there is nothing enduring in that which is conditioned, created and conceptual and no permanence to be found in that which is impermanent and marked by change. In this clear, direct and honest seeing of the way things really are in conceptual life we are no longer fooled, limited or trapped by them. We realize that despite appearances, all conditioned and conceptual things, dramas and phenomena are transitory, empty, subject to change and fleeting. No-thing conceptual truly belongs to us. Many of our frustrations are only as a result of us not being able to control and stop change, and yet all of conditioned and conceptual life is always in transition and changing. It is all marked, conditioned and led by impermanence. This is the clear seeing of insight, that all things, phenomena, dramas and worldly events, be they labelled as good or bad, right or wrong, pure of impure, worldly or unworldly, favorable or unfavorable are permanently marked, conditioned and shaped by change, transition and impermanence. We fully realize and accept that there is nothing lasting to be found in that which changes and is transitory and here now lies the opening to Self-Realization - Truth."

Attachment to the body and its parts can only lead to suffering. There has to be that which is permanent to be able to discern that which is impermanent. There has to be that which is unmoving to be able to discern that which is moving. There has to be that which is unchanging to be able to discern that which is changing. There has to be that which is finite to be able to discern that which is infinite. There has to be that which is with form to be able to discern that which is formless. There has to be that which is unborn, ageless and deathless to be able to discern that which is with birth, old age, decay and death. The mind changes. The body changes. The world changes.

The mind is of the nature to favor and want only that which is pleasant, rewarding and pleasing. It is also of the nature to disfavor and not want that which is unpleasant, unrewarding and displeasing. The mind due to its habits, preferences, conditioning, urges and ignorance will seek out, crave and desire only that which is pleasing, pleasurable, favorable and rewarding; and the mind due to its habits, preferences, conditioning, urges and ignorance will do all it can to avoid and not have that which is unpleasing, painful, unrewarding and unfavorable. For these reasons there is no lasting and enduring happiness, peace or freedom to be found in the desires, attachments, demands and cravings of the mind, which so too serve the urges and needs of the so-called body. Of course the body needs food, shelter, warmth, protection, medicine and rest. These needs come with the consequence of having a body. The body is always vulnerable to the elements, danger, sickness, dis-ease, decay and death. What is created can be destroyed. Therefore attachment and identification with and to the body cannot bring us permanent peace or immortality. So too with the mind. This is the wisdom of clear seeing and insight into the true nature of things, identity and reality. There is no permanence to be found in the body, mind and the ever-changing world of the senses and their ever-changing sense objects. These things do not endure. Therefore what endures transcends these things. This is the unsurpassable and ultimate truth of reality, experience and identity that we must seek to realize and know in order to be awake and free from the grip and sleep of ignorance. To put it simply. It is to fully know what Reality is.

YOU ARE REALITY ITSELF

What I speak of and communicate in these esoteric writings and works is beyond existence and non-existence, and yet is also one with existence and non-existence. Anything that can be named is not what I speak of. What can be named is open to misinterpretation, rejection and misrepresentation. It is far better for everyone that it remain nameless, although names are used to speak of it. Everything is of 'emptiness', never having left or being separated from 'emptiness'. All is fulfilled, whole and at peace in this transcendental knowing. This, for me, is the highest palpable state of esoteric knowing that is attainable by those who through the grace and blessing of God seek to attain it, and yet in its realization nothing is really acquired and attained. All is as it has always been. The false self is simply cast aside.

With the spiritual wisdom and yoga of insight I see and know the body to be unreliable, uncertain and impermanent therefore I place no importance on it or do I attach to it. I do not identify with it, and yet I also do not reject it, harm it or abuse it. I simply acknowledge and accept it for what it is. The same can be said with the mind and all objects of mind. So too with the ever-changing world of the senses, sense-objects and mind-consciousness. All that can be known is marked, conditioned and shaped by impermanence. Therefore I do not seek permanence, security and reliance in these things and creations. Temporarily they can bring us sensory moments and sensations of  pleasure, gratification, reward and self fulfilment, and yet all this will come to pass. All things will come to pass. All things will at some time cease to exist, and we are powerless to stop it. No one is to blame. No one did anything wrong. It is simply the way things are. No-thing created or made endures, except Reality itself and you are this enduring Reality as the ever-present 'I-am'. Only 'emptiness' is real.

In the spiritual Self-realization and esoteric Awakening of the Absolute, pure 'Spirit' we, or should I say the individualized mind, are no longer held prisoner or victim by the idea or belief of an enduring, unchanging and individualized self (ego) that is born, ages, decays and dies. The subject of knowing, the known and the knowing are all seen to be one enduring Reality. It is all one pure enduring 'Spirit'. We see that all suffering begins with the mind and ends with the mind, and pure 'Spirit' is beyond and free of the modifications and states of the mind. The genuine truth-seeker and yogi of spiritual knowledge seeks to abide with that which is Real, which is their own true nature and enduring Self. In this esoteric Self-realization of pure 'Spirit' what is realized had never been left, and is realized to be all that is. Separateness and individuality are the real illusions. This Truth is an enduring and permanent state of direct experiencing, knowledge and being - Sat-Chit-Ananda. A palpable state of plenitude, fulfilment, beauty, bliss, freedom and belonging beyond all the trappings, limitations and boundaries of the ever-changing phenomenal world of things, perceptions, creations and forms; an enduring spiritual state of perfect harmony, peace, beauty, purity, freedom and belonging.

In this Great Awakening, the Divine, the universe and all creations are recognized and known as one and the same. All in God, with God, as God, of God and God in all. Only God is Real as the enduring 'I-am'. We are this enduring Reality, as all is this enduring and perfect Reality. No birth, no old age, no decay, no bondage and no death. I am you and you are me. This unborn, ageless and deathless Reality is all there is. The Deathless Self alone is all things. One ageless and inexhaustible Reality.

It is the 'I-am' of I am.

This Great Awakening is the esoteric Self-realization of the Absolute, pure 'Spirit', behind, with and as all our lives in whatever manner, condition or form we find life to be. To be awake is to manifest that level of Pure Being, 'Spirit', in all situations, events, conditions, dramas and circumstances at all times; to genuinely and authentically radiate and embody the Divine in all places and in all thoughts and actions at all times. When truly and fully awake this will naturally shine unhindered with no effort or interference on the part of the individualized mind or intellect. You simply are That which you have always been, and the illusionary limitations and trappings of all that is unreal are relinquished. You are finally awake from the temporary sleep of ignorance. No birth. No death. No suffering and no end of suffering. No bondage or liberation. Simply 'Pure Being' as 'I-am'. All is this enduring and ever-present 'I-am'. The ever-present light and truth of  the true Self.

OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace.

"All the world is itself Divinity. Imperfection is the real illusion. This is what it is to be lost to love, and the unity of all life. This is absolute Oneness. This is the highest realization and knowing of an atman-yogi."

This is the essential and core message of Atman-YogaThe Deathless Self, alone is as 'I-am'.

Atman-Yoga Daily Mantra: "I am. Life is. 'I am' is one with all life and all life is one with 'I-am'. Oneness in body. Oneness in mind. Oneness in all things."

Atman-Yoga Daily Meditation: 'Only God is real' as the eternal 'I-am'. All is this.

Song of the Deathless Yogi:

I am 'emptiness'. All is 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is all.

Form is 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is form'. Only 'emptiness'.

This esoteric blog is dedicated to my earthly mother 'Rita' who transitioned on the 12th December 2021. A truly selfless, kind, beautiful and loving embodied soul, friend and mother.

An additional post-article 2023 note: You might ask why so much written material to convey such a concise and simple spiritual message. It is important to note that there have been noticeable stages and levels to the recognition and exposing of Truth and the letting go of identifying with the mind and body and creation. Like the peeling away of the layers of an onion. As each layer is removed the Truth becomes more exposed to the point Truth is all there is to see, experience and know. All that was false and unreal was done away with revealing the one Truth that endures and gives rise and substance to all things and creation. For me, this is very much how all this has played out and therefore what was written evolve too. Even now it is challenging to be satisfied with what is written here as I feel it does not do it real justice and could easily just lead to more confusion and debate.

The Many Faces of the One

  What is this?

Who am I?

The Many Faces of the One: article 26 - the unpublished esoteric writings of an aging yogi.

FREEING THE MIND

"For the one who is truly awake, the atman-yogi, there is no action they need perform although all actions can be and are done regardless. There is no place they need go as they already permanently residing in all places. There is nothing that they need acquire as they are already one with all things, and all things are one with them. No-thing need be done and yet all things are nevertheless done. Nothing need change and yet all things can and do change. No-thing need happen and yet all things can and do happen. This is the esoteric and supreme realization and knowledge of the full liberated soul that the Divine, the universe and all things that reside in it are identical and of the same eternal essence, state, nature and source. All in God, with God, as God, and of God and God in all. Only God is Real as the unborn, ageless, boundless, immaculate, timeless and undying 'I-am'. The Deathless Self alone is. All is 'emptiness' and 'emptiness is all."

This particular page, accidentally or intentionally, as the previous page when added, was still a work in process - articles 1 to 15 were mostly complete. Everything else on this esoteric blog on Atman-Yoga is still a meditative and contemplative work in progress as lifted from my personal collected notes and writings on the nature and truth of reality, experience and identity. To this point in the blog I have finished transferring all my recorded and collected writings and notes on to this blog. I will now simply do my very best to refine, correct and tidy each article and add any additional notes and corrections as and when I am directed. I am satisfied that the core message of Atman-Yoga is here for all to see, examine, investigate and ponder. Its authenticity and truth will have to be the discovery of one's own genuine self-awakening and Self-realization.

Additional note: You might be aware that some of article 26 has been carried over to article 27. Another one of life's accidents and imperfections. It was not intended and I decided to leave it as it is. Much of the core message is repetition here so I decided to let it be. My apologizes.

I can assure you that have no personal agenda in what others do. I simply have done as directed. Its true merit will be of its own making, destiny and integrity and with the support of the willing souls who unexpectedly or expectantly visit this esoteric blog. May the Great Awakening of pure 'Spirit' be your own. Certainly blessed and precious are those souls who have realized, embodied and radiated this sacred truth of 'I-am'. May they long continue to walk and live among us and deliver us all from spiritual ignorance and the temporary worldly state of suffering and the end of suffering. The essence and the whole of Atman-Yoga is this supreme knowledge that, the Deathless Self alone is and all is this supreme Truth. This is the embodied and sacred knowing and radiance of an authentic liberated soul, atman-yogi, who is one with all things and all things are with them. They know all things to be the unborn, changeless, untouched, timeless and deathless 'Spirit'.

All love. All peace. All one as the eternal 'I-am'. Sincere blessings, gratitude and love to all who fully venture into the heart and truth of the Deathless Self, pure 'Spirit'. The Deathless Self alone is. Of this I am certain. Of this I am very clear. May all embodied hearts and minds know the peace, love, beauty, wisdom, purity, simplicity, bliss and fulfilment that we all are, and embody and abide in conventional life as this knowing of knowing without knowing of 'I-am'. OM, shanti, shanti, shanti. I am the eternal 'I-am' - unborn, ageless, and deathless. Blessings to all who genuinely embody and radiant this Truth. May you discover the sacred and ever-present One that resides in you and all, and permanently and effortlessly embody and radiate the Divine at all times, in all places, and in all situations. Om, shanti, shanti, shanti. 'I-am', peace, peace, peace.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

THE DEATHLESS SELF ALONE IS

You alone are the Deathless Self. All alone as 'I-am' is the Deathless Self. Not as mindawareness or consciousness but simply as 'I-am', in, with, as and of all things. No things exist independent of the Deathless Self, and yet the Deathless Self remains independent of all things. This is the paradox of Self-realization, that the Deathless Self alone is all things and all things have their existence and being in and with the Deathless Self, and yet the Deathless Self remains untouched, unchanged, unaffected, unaltered, unthreatened and unmoved by all things. It is said that when things are seen to be separate and independent then they are known to be unreal and transitory, and yet when things are realized and known to be no-thing but the Deathless Self alone then they are real, permanent and eternal. You and all things exist always as the Impersonal and Ageless pure 'Spirit'. The 'I-am' of I am.

Us, the so-called 'us', seeing and knowing the Deathless Self as a result of spiritual Self-inquiry and Self-realization is only us recognizing and being the Self that we already are and have always been. The Deathless Self always is, regardless of appearances and all things are one with it. All separateness and individuality is born of the mind, has its place in the mind and is ended with the mind. So too with suffering and the end of suffering. So too with bondage and liberation. The Deathless Self alone is. It is the one true source, essence, nature and origin of all experience and phenomena including 'I-am'. All phenomena and realms of experience and existence come from the Deathless Self alone and have their being in the mind and mind-consciousness and yet they always continue to abide in the Self, with the Self and as the Self. No-thing is different or separate from the Deathless Self. All appearances are the illusions and projections of the individualized mind, and the mind has its being in the Deathless Self. The mind is one with the Self, and yet the mind, mind-consciousness and all objects of mind do not effect, alter, threaten, limit or change what the Self is. The Deathless Self alone always is - unchanging, unmoved, ageless, fulfilled, pure and supreme. All is this. This is the one true essence and nature of all things. This is their true absolute state and nature, regardless of all appearances, situations, dramas, events and things. Concepts, ideas, beliefs, views, opinions, and names only have their place in the mind; born of the mind, belonging to the mind, and ending with the mind, and therefore are only relative to the mind and mind-states and have no impact or reliance in us knowing this unsurpassable and absolute truth of the Deathless Self. Our true essence lies beyond the mind and yet its essence fills the mind with all manner of things.

What I would say is that all there is, is 'I-am', which is free of any individualized and permanent 'I' or mind. The 'I' itself has its being in 'I-am' and is always one with 'I-am'. The 'I' thought has its being in and with 'I-am' but it is not 'I-am'. For me, spiritual Self-realization is to remain fixed in and as the Deathless Self alone and always; our sense of being and presence, what I call 'I-am', even with the appearance and disappearance of the 'I' thought, is always fixed in the Absolute as its true formless, boundless and perfect home; a home that it has never left. It is the false idea of having left this home that is the real illusion. Only the Absolute is.

The ever-changing world of the senses and their sense organs are of the nature to change, so we do not fix or place our home in them. The body too is of the nature to change so we do not fix or place our home in the body. The mind is of the nature to change so we do not fix or place our home in the mind. The world, the body and mind cannot be permanently relied on as our true place of refuge or reliance. All our effort is only directed in giving up the notion that we are limited and have our being as a permanent individualized mind and body self. The true Deathless Self is complete, whole, fulfilled and free of all realms and forms of existence and non-existence. No-thing can add to it. No-thing can diminish it, and no-thing can limit or harm it and yet it is present in all things and all things are present in it; and it does not demand, need or expect anything of them. All things, forms and phenomena are left freely to themselves, to freely be themselves and are whole in themselves. Only the Deathless Self alone is. Of this I am certain. Of this I am absolutely clear.

What is this?

Who am I?

REALITY AS THE ONE 'I-AM'.

Reality is always Reality no matter how it manifests itself. Be it as an absolute Reality or an individual conceptual reality it is all the one deathless and unified Reality of the Deathless Self. Suffering only arises when the 'I' thought thinks it is something other than this deathless Reality, which alone is. Reality is always manifesting itself as conceptual, sensory and cognitive experience. Whether the 'I' knows it or not it is still all one unified and enduring Reality. It is all one reality as different realms, forms and states of knowing and experiencing. Reality is always Reality no matter how it manifests itself. There are just different ways of having, knowing and experiencing reality, but it is always the same one unified interconnected and enduring Reality. Whatever you experience is always Reality, and Reality is all there is as the eternal 'I-am'. The mistake is the 'I' thought thinking it is something other than Reality itself. All is because you are as 'I-am'. You are the one Reality, 'I-am', which alone is. The Deathless Self alone is. Only God is Real as the eternal 'I-am'. This is the heart of Atman-Yoga. This is the truth and light of the true Self.

It is the 'I-am' of I am.

When the individualized mind is made quiet and still, it sinks and disappears into the Self. The world is simply seen as a projection of the Deathless Self. In whatever way this Truth is presented it will not be satisfactory until it is fully realized as the knowing of it without knowing, and then speaking of it will not do it justice as it is without words and there is no one to speak of it. In fact it is far better for us to remain silent and still in the knowing of knowing without knowing. I say it is knowing without knowing because what it is requires no cognitive or conceptual knowing and yet it can still be known as the ever-present 'I-am'. In this knowing of knowing without knowing the world and the Deathless Self are one. The world is known as an appearance in and of the Deathless Self, and made of the Deathless Self. The world is only a problem when the 'I' assumes its identity as separate from the Deathless Self. The Deathless Self alone is and all is complete and whole in this knowing of knowing without knowing. Divinity itself is the real substance, state and essence of all life. The whole universe and everything in it is itself Divinity. Its silence and stillness is palpable.

Worldly conditions, dramas and events do not limit the Deathless Self or confine it. It does not matter to the Deathless Self what worldly circumstances, dramas and situations are, or what events and dramas are taking place, be they favorable or unfavorable, beautiful or unpleasant, welcomed or rejected. It knows that the world of change belongs to the ever-changing sensory realms of experience and experiencing. It is free of all conditioning, limitations, time, space and forms. It is not altered, threatened, lessened, limited or affected by what is. It is not limited by space, time or forms. It knows that all things, dramas and forms have their true identity and being with the Deathless Self. It alone is the essence, origin and source of all things. It cannot be moved, threatened or destroyed by what is or what is not. Its essence is impenetrable, untouchable and indestructible.

The individualized mind is not the Self, and yet it is of the Self. The body is not the Self and yet it is of the Self. Even the 'I' thought and so-called intellect that thinks it recognizes and knows the Self is an impersonal phenomena that happens in time, space and conditioning. Therefore the individualized 'I' is not the Self, and yet it is of and one with the true Self. All things, dramas, events and phenomena are seen as unreal when thought to be separate from the Deathless Self, but are known as real when realized and known to be one with the Deathless Self. The Deathless Self alone is. Individuality and separateness are the illusions to the Deathless Self, and yet everything is always abiding as and with the Deathless Self. This is what I mean by the statement that 'Only God is Real' as the 'I-am'. All is this 'emptiness'. Only 'emptiness'. This is the light and truth of knowing and the light of the Self.

I am the 'I-am' of I am.

VENTURING INTO THE ABYSS

Meditation on the nature of the body

The individualized body is of the nature to die. It is born and comes into being, therefore it is of the nature to die. Birth and death are inseparable. There is no birth without death, and no death without birth. Therefore we see the body is of the nature to decay, cease and end. There is no permanent and lasting home in the individualized form we call body, and all its so-called parts. They are all marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. No one is to blame. No one did anything wrong. It is simply the way things are.

The individualized body is also of the nature to experience and have pain and unpleasant feelings and bodily sensations. The body is of the nature to have dis-ease and dis-comfort. It can be broken or damaged and it is of the nature to become sick and have ill-health. The form called body is of the nature to age and grow old; to decay, to have dis-ease and die. We can see that there is no permanent and lasting home in the so-called body and all its associated parts. They are all marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. No one is to blame. No one did anything wrong. It is simply the way things are.

The individualized body is of the nature to change. Its appearance and looks are ever-changing, unreliable and uncertain. All the associated organs of the body are of the nature to potentially become and be sick. All the organs of the body are of the nature to change, decay and die. They are all of the nature to cease to exist and end. Even the breathe and the ability to breath will end and cease to exist. All the associated organs of the body and the breath and the capacity to breathe are marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. No one is to blame. No one did anything wrong. It is not someone fault. It is simply the way things are. Vulnerable is this so-called body and all it associated parts and bodily senses.

Therefore seeing the individualized body as the body I place no self-importance, attachment or reliance on the body, and all its associated parts. I do not make the body and all its parts my permanent, abiding and lasting home. I do not make them my place of refuge and permanent reliance. Attachment to the so-called body; its appearance and all its parts can only lead to suffering. This includes all feelings, bodily sensations and the capacity to breathe. The body and its parts including bodily sensations, feelings and breath are all marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. They will all cease to exist. There is no permanence to be found in the body, its parts and the breath.

Seeing clearly and directly with the pure wisdom of insight that the body and all its parts and even the breath, are unreliable, ever-changing, transitory and uncertain I place no permanent reliance, identity or importance on them, or do I strongly attach to them. I do not identify with them and yet I do not reject them or abuse them. I simply and lovingly accept them for what they are with non-attachment and non-identification. 'I-am' is free of the individualized form called body, its parts and the breath, and yet these things have their being in its ever enduring and ever-present existence. Their being or non-being does not alter, change, threaten, limit, lessen or affect essentially what 'I-am' is. 'I-am' forever remains as it is. All is this enduring and ever-present 'I-am'.

Meditation on the 'mind' and 'mind-consciousness':

The individualized mind is of the nature to change. The mind is marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. There is no permanent reliance or happiness to be attached to the individualized 'mind' and 'mind-consciousness'. The mental objects, states, moods and modifications of the mind, and mind-consciousness are ever-changing and can not be relied on with any real certainty. An individualized person can be of a sick or dis-eased mind; a mind that has severe and recurring states of depression, anxiety, worry, restlessness, rage and fear. A person can even end up immobilized or ill due to a sick, dis-eased and corrupted mind state. The ever-changing individualized mind can have different and changing views, opinions, ideas, perceptions, interpretations, beliefs and conclusions about things and the world at large, both agreeable and disagreeable, and therefore what permanent reliance and happiness can there be to attach to the mind and mind-consciousness. The mind can be impacted and plagued by harmful and negative mental states, like, anger, hate, envy, doubt, restlessness, selfishness, jealousy, uncertainty, self-importance, insecurity, hopelessness, shame, pride, rage, lust, worry, greed and ignorance. Therefore  it is considered foolish to place the need for permanent fulfilment, certainty and reliance on the mind and mind-consciousness as they are by their very nature marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. Therefore as an aspiring atman-yogi I do not place my sense of being and fulfilment in and on the mind and mind-consciousness. I do not make them my true abiding home. I do not reject them, and yet I do not attach self-importance, identity or certainty to them or rely on them as an permanent abiding sense of self, and who I am or what reality is. I do not reject or abuse them. My sense of identity is free of them.

WHAT IS REAL

It is very clear with the pure wisdom of insight that the ever-changing world and universe of the senses and their sense objects and sense impressions are all marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. The world of the senses and their sense objects and sense impressions are not something that can be permanently relied on and attached to. Even consciousness itself is marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. We speak and know of altered states and levels of consciousness; of being unconscious and of pure consciousness. We speak of being aware or unaware. We known very well that the bodily and mental senses are of the nature to decay and end. Seeing, hearing, taste, smell, touch and even the capacity to think, conceptualize and discern can decay, diminish and die. They too are marked, conditioned and shaped by change and impermanence. You might argue that we are all awareness itself, and that it is the objects of awareness usually perceived that have simply vanished from our knowing of them. As much as I can understand this so-called reasoning I do not agree with it. Pure Being needs not to be aware or non-aware in order to exist. It simply is as 'I-am'. The knowing of it does not make it so, or does the idea of being aware. It is whether there is an awareness of it; a knowing of it, or a so-called consciousness that knows it. I prefer an 'intelligence' that is all things, and the very essence of all things but it does not rely on the capacity to think, discern, know or be aware. It is empty and independent of anything that we can know, think, conceptualize and say that it is, and yet it is one with all things that we can know, think, conceptualize and say. It is simply 'I-am'. Nothing to conceptualize or speak of.

You might argue that it is 'individualized awareness' that ends and not 'awareness' itself. I know the same is said with 'consciousness'. Why then are we not aware at all times and of all things? Personally I am not in agreement with these claims and anything that can be named is not what I speak of. What can be named is easily misinterpreted, mis-used, and misunderstood. The mind can only take us so far. Once this is realized we give up the self-importance and reliance placed on it. It would be far better for us all if it remained nameless, and yet we need names to speak of it. This has been said to be the paradox of spiritual Self-inquiry and Self-realization despite that which we all are being absolutely free of mind, body, thinking, feeling, the world of the senses, perception, intellect and consciousness, it somehow needs the world of the senses and sense objects and phenomena to express its own enduring nature, existence and essence. This is the play of light that we all are. This is the simple innate miracle that we all are despite the strangeness, messiness and complexities of this divided, multifaceted and challenged world.

"All the world is itself Divinity. Imperfection is the real illusion. This is what it is to be lost to love, and the unity of all life. This is absolute Oneness. This is the so-called highest spiritual and perfected realization and knowing of an atman-yogi."

This is the essential and core message of Atman-YogaThe Deathless Self, alone is as 'I-am'.

Atman-Yoga Daily Mantra: "I am. Life is. 'I am' is one with all life and all life is one with 'I-am'. Oneness in body. Oneness in mind. Oneness in all things."

Atman-Yoga Daily Meditation: 'Only God is real' as the eternal 'I-am'. All is this.

Song of the Deathless Yogi:

I am 'emptiness'. All is 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is all.

Form is 'emptiness'. 'Emptiness' is form'. Only 'emptiness'.
